Black Glass Leads is operated by Pfaff Digital. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit our website, contact us, or use the product.

What we collect and why

When you contact us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, work email, company, and message. We use them to respond, discuss our service, and manage our relationship with you. Our infrastructure also processes request information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and access logs, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

For product accounts, we process account, billing, and usage information to provide and support the service. When a customer sends lead or contact data to Black Glass Leads, we process it on that customer’s behalf to provide the features they use. The customer controls how that data is collected and used.

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for optional analytics, our contract with you to provide the service, legitimate interests to respond to inquiries and protect the service, and legal obligations for required records.

Analytics and your choices

With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4, managed through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages people visit, how they use our demo, and whether they submit an inquiry. Analytics can include cookie identifiers, campaign information, device and browser details, and approximate location. We do not send your form answers, email address, customer lead records, or outreach drafts to Google Analytics.

Google tracking stays off until you accept analytics. You can reject it or withdraw your choice at any time using Privacy choices in the footer. Rejecting analytics does not prevent you from using the site or submitting a form. We also keep optional analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.

We do not enable advertising cookies, Google Signals, or personalized advertising through this setup. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Cloudflare also provides site delivery, security, and basic website performance measurement. Its Web Analytics service does not use cookies or local storage to track visitors.

Cookies and storage

We remember your privacy choice for 180 days and your theme and text-size preferences in your browser. If you accept analytics, we may store Google Analytics cookies for up to 180 days and a first-touch campaign cookie (bgl_attribution) for 30 days. The campaign cookie helps us understand which campaign led to an inquiry and can preserve campaign information in links to our app. Optional cookies are removed when you withdraw consent. Product sign-in and security use separate necessary cookies.

Sharing and storage

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use service providers for hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, and the product features you request. They receive information needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the service and people who use it.

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers use safeguards such as approved contractual terms. Customer-selectable data residency is not currently available.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed to respond to you, provide the service, maintain necessary business records, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and the customer’s instructions. Google Analytics user and event data is set to a 14-month retention period without resetting it when you return; aggregate reports may remain longer. Cookie lifetimes are listed above. Withdrawing analytics consent stops future optional tracking; it does not automatically delete information already collected.

Your rights and contacting us

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy regulator. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. If a customer provided your data to Black Glass Leads, contact that customer first; we can help them respond.
